UCSD Swings

 

 

 

A common feature on most college campuses, swings will serve a practical purpose of allowing students and visitors of the campus alike to enjoy the UCSD grounds from a completely different point of view as well as provide stationary areas throughout the campus landscape that invite fun, playfulness and relaxation. The simple function of the swing and its temporary installation would suggest the potential of spaces that have previously been taken for granted allowing them to become re-imagined and serve an additional beneficial purpose.
