Hi! I am a 5th year Cognitive Science major specializing in Human Computer Interaction. I am interested in how humans interact with architecture and interact with each other in a space.
In high school, I studied architecture for two years and greatly enjoyed it. I learned how to draft by hand, design buildings, build models, and conduct critiques, which gave me great appreciation for how architecture is evocative, impressive, and influential while still sustaining functionality. Both the internal and external structural design can dramatically affect a person’s mood and temperament, and I'm interested in understanding the mechanism that drives this force. I would like to work with architects, artists, engineers, and cognitive scientists to design buildings that will maximally improve the well-being of its occupants.
